A FUN OUTDOOR FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT IN IPSWICH, SUFFOLK
Amy, Nick and the little’uns invited me to Amy’s mums home in Nacton Village near Ipswich, to photograph their lovely little family unit. They wanted a fun outdoor family photoshoot in Ipswich, Suffolk with a green backdrop and Amy’s childhood home was the most incredible location we could have chosen. I felt seriously spoilt having so many different spots to choose from and wander around! The home is very hidden away – I was super relieved when I arrived and found them all grinning at me from a bench by the pond. Just minutes before I felt certain it would be one of those instances when a sat nav gets you stuck in the middle of a field or something!
What a gorgeous family these lot are. Little Jacob and Freya were on their best behaviour and helped me pick out the best places we could take photos in, as well as giving Nick and Amy some posing advice and doing all sorts of funny dances to try and get a smiles from adorable baby Noah.
We started on the steps in to the back of the beautiful house to replicate a photograph they had taken the year before (pre-Noah!). Then, wandering through the trees we stopped every so often in perfect spots amongst the greens for family cuddles and games before they had a sit by the lake for a few shots too. Eventually, we took a wander back to the house where Nick’s sister Emma and her family were waiting so we could take some shots of them all together. Noah has a baby cousin a month younger than him, Mabel. There are some seriously cute photos of him trying to escape her cuddles! I’ll show these soon. I’ll stop babbling now – here’s a handful of my favourite photographs that I sent their way…x
