A WONDERLAND THEMED FUN WEDDING AT WOODHALL MANOR, SUFFOLK

Lorraine and Peter had an incredibly fun wedding at Woodhall Manor. Lorraine adores Alice in Wonderland, so they themed their wedding around this, in the most beautiful and elegant way ever.

As soon as this relaxed couple booked me for their wedding photography and I knew that we would have a blast together. I arrived at Woodhall Manor in time for bridal prep where Lorraine was having her make-up applied by the lovely Emma Brooks. While the gorgeous bride to be had some time to relax before getting dressed, I popped over to the reception room to photograph all the DIY decor that Lorraine had done the day previously. Everyone had told me at bridal prep that it was beautiful but I wasn’t quite prepared for how breathtaking it was! See for yourself in the photos below…

So the ceremony was super heartfelt and many tears were shed. There was confetti throwing followed by cute mini canapés, drinks and giant garden games. The newlyweds only wanted a photo of themselves with their children, so once that was done, there were no big group shots to do! Instead, I used my time for guest candid shots and when they were ready, some couples portraits just tucked out of sight from their brilliantly fun guests. As it was a Wednesday weekday wedding, Lorraine and Peter were able to book me for just half a day. I left them to enjoy the rest of their celebration just as they went in to their wedding breakfast. I’ve been told the rest of the afternoon and evening were as fun and full of laughs as the morning and that I can be certain of!
