A BOHEMIAN WEDDING – LYNNE & BRUCE
What a glorious time I had spending the wedding day with Lynne, Bruce and their nearest and dearest. The Keeper and The Dell just outside Norwich was the perfect venue for their relaxed boho wedding. The ceremony on the hill, a rustic marquee buffet wedding breakfast, cake cutting in the barn, first dance by the fire pit and after dancing the night away, camping in the birch garden in bell tents with all their friends and family. Awesome.
I met Lynne, her sister and her mum at an incredible house that they’d found on Air BnB as they actually live in Cambridge but loved the Keeper so much they decided to tie the knot in Norfolk. Lynne had a little trial of putting on her dress, did a twirl for her mum and sister and then they all packed up the car before heading off to put the finishing touches together in one of the bell tents waiting for them when they arrived.
Lynne & Bruce have been together something like 19 years and have two absolutely gorgeous daughters. They told me how this wedding has been a long time coming, with life being so busy and concentrating on the girls, they had just never gotten round to it ’til now. I love that they waited because this day was extra special. My couples are generally super relaxed and chilled out, but these two were all about having fun with their family and friends. They didn’t stick to tradition and just had their day exactly as they wanted it without worrying about anyone else – and as far as I’m concerned, that’s exactly how it should be…
Thanks to Lolly & co at K&TD for being as helpful as always, Katie for second shooting with me and to Lynne & Bruce for amongst all the other fun, the homemade sloe gin I’m looking forward to drinking once our baby has arrived! Here’s what their day looked like… x
