NORWICH CASTLE & PLANTATION GARDENS WEDDING – Becca & Jamie
NORWICH CASTLE AND PLANTATION GARDEN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
If you want to go for some pretty grand backdrops, Norwich castle and plantation gardens are rather impressive going when it comes to your wedding. It made my job as their wedding photographer nothing short of a joy. Becca & Jamie had the most chilled out ceremony and reception I’ve ever been to yet, which suited them down to a tee.. these guys are a bloomin’ cool couple.
Becca got ready at home in Norwich city centre with her friends over cups of coffee galore with The Smiths and Bowie playing in the background. Shortly before the ceremony, Becca threw on her dress from Ghost London, then they all hopped in to a taxi and made their way to the castle where friends and family were waiting. There was none of the old ‘groom can’t see the bride’ talk, as Jamie was waiting for Becca and they disappeared together whilst guests took their seats and then walked down the aisle together.
The service was short and sweet, they said their I Do’s and then everyone made their way to the Earlham Road Plantation Gardens.. Bags filled with bottles of fizz and paper cups appeared whilst guests mingled and Becca, Jamie and I were doing their couples portraits at the other end of the gardens. What happened next is all a rumour as they only wanted short coverage of the day, but a little bird told me they went to the pub for lunch, chilled out at home a bit, then met all their guests in the pub they’d hired out later to dance in to the night. If I could have my wedding all over again, it would be just. like. this.
Told you these two were unbelievably relaxed and cool. Thanks Becca, Jamie & co for letting me hang out with you guys – it was a blast. x
