SUFFOLK BARN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY HAWSTEAD

Katie & Laurence got married at St Giles church in Risby before heading off to Suffolk Barn in Hawstead. It was a gloriously hot day and the wedding party spent lots of time outdoors laughing, drinking and generally enjoying the weather.

Getting ready

Katie got ready with her bridesmaids at Lackford Lake Barns in Bury St Edmunds, after they had all had their hair styled at Nichola Maires salon in Risby. A few glasses of prosecco and some hugs later, the girls were ready to help Katie in to her dress, which she had fallen in love with at The Bridal Lounge in Hadleigh. Laurence got ready at home with his groomsmen – their suits were from Moss Bros.

The Wedding Reception at Suffolk Barn

The Wedding Reception at Suffolk Barn, Hawstead was really relaxed. It was decorated in a gorgeous, rustic style with lots of wildflowers, hessian and DIY touchers. There were games outside for the kids to run around and play, while the rest of the guests enjoyed drinks and laughing in the sunshine before it was time for the meal and speeches.

The Party

The evening party got well underway after the first dance, with the awesome JS & The Lockerbillies playing. If you’ve not seen them before, they’re a rockabilly band that always get everyone partying!
