HAUTBOIS HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY NORFOLK

As an alternative wedding photographer, Hautbois Hall was the perfect venue, (especially when Maria and Stevie had finished decorating) and Maria & Stevie the perfect couple. I first met Maria in a pub after she finished work and we clicked straight away. We had bizarrely similar tastes in well, everything. Even our engagement rings were almost identical. We talked and laughed for ages and sort of forgot we were there to talk about photography. The wedding itself was just as amazing.

I turned up to Maria’s parents house to find her dad winding her up about wearing shorts, with father of the bride socks, his favourite hat and his suit jacket. She was chilled out, doing her own hair and makeup in her mums hairdressing room. The time came and she emerged in her vintage wedding dress which she had had customised to fit her, being such a teeny lady! She looked stunning. When I arrived at the lovely Hautbois Hall, I found Stevie nervously twiddling his thumbs chatting to guests in the bright sunshine before their outdoor ceremony, whilst Maria poured herself a drink from behind the bar indoors to settle her nerves.

The rest of the day was pure magic. So much love and laughter. This pair have impeccable taste – the reception room was decorated like something from a much coveted pinterest board, apart from it was so much more than that. The room was filled with wild flowers that everyone – friends and family alike – had helped to pick the day before from their own and neighbouring gardens. Stevie had made and assembled the cake himself that morning. Photos of them through the years adorned the walls. Maria & Stevie wish to keep the majority of their images private but I’ll let this little handful of photos do the rest of the talking.
