VOEWOOD ENGAGEMENT SHOOT, NORFOLK – Ben & Steph

Ben and Steph asked for their Engagement shoot at Voewood in Norfolk as their wedding venue for next Autumn! We were only able to use the grounds on the Thursday morning we popped there as there was a wedding being set up inside, but I hear the inside of the house is bloody incredible so I can’t wait to get back there next year.

Voewood is a wedding venue in north Norfolk, around 25 minutes from the Cromer coastline. We met bright and early as the sun was peering over the trees, before we did a bit of exploring and these guys gave me a little tour of the grounds (which, just FYI, are beyond beautiful). We chatted about their wedding plans and how their summer had been before jumping straight in to capturing the images they plan to use for their invitations..so guests, watch this space..

What I love about engagement and couples shoots is that I get to learn what makes couples tick ahead of their big day (I spoke all about it in this post – reasons to book a couples shoot). The funniest thing I found out about these two was how they got engaged.. Apparently whilst in Australia, after a few drinks Ben muttered (not so quietly) about the ring he’d got and how surprised Steph would be when he proposed the next day. Steph didn’t remind him of his outburst as she didn’t want to spoil his plans, but did after she had said yes as it was too funny not to. Ben went a bit pink telling this story, so I hope he doesn’t mind me sharing it! 😉

Big love to these two – had such an awesome morning with them, can’t wait to hang out again in September 2017 when they’re all dressed up in their fineries and saying I Do! x
